These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of https://www.dressreal.com and all of the designer-resale calculators, guides, museum, and other content on it (the “Service”). By using the Service you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. We may update these Terms from time to time, and continued use after a change means you accept the current version.

What the Service Is

DressReal offers free tools and educational content for buying and selling pre-owned designer fashion, including:

• Consignment Payout Calculator
• Luxury Size Converter
• Cost-Per-Wear Calculator
• Authentication Checklist Scorer
• Guides, a Learn section, and an illustrated Designer Fashion Museum

Everything is provided free of charge. We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time.

Estimates, Not Valuations or Verdicts

The calculators produce general estimates from standard formulas and the figures you enter, and the Authentication Checklist Scorer produces a confidence score from your own answers. None of this is a valuation of a specific item, a guarantee of what it will sell for, or a determination that a piece is genuine or counterfeit. By using the Service you agree to treat every result as educational guidance, and to confirm anything that affects real money — a purchase, a sale, a price, or a question of authenticity — with a qualified appraiser, authenticator, or professional before you act.

Your Responsibilities

When you use the Service, you agree to:

• Use the tools in good faith for your own personal resale and buying decisions
• Enter accurate figures so the estimates are meaningful
• Not attempt to disrupt, overload, or compromise the site
• Not scrape or use automated systems to hammer the tools
• Respect intellectual-property rights and use the Service lawfully

You are responsible for your own judgement, and for seeking professional appraisal or authentication where a purchase or sale warrants it. The tools assist and inform; they do not replace professional advice.

The Service is provided “as is”. While we aim for accuracy, we cannot guarantee every calculation is error-free or fits your situation. DressReal disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, DressReal and its suppliers are not liable for any damages — including financial loss on a purchase or sale, or lost data — arising from your use of, or inability to use, the tools and content, even if we have been advised of the possibility.

Intellectual Property

The text, graphics, tools, and software on the site are the property of DressReal or its suppliers and are protected by copyright. You may use the tools for personal, non-commercial purposes; you may not copy, modify, resell, or reverse-engineer the site’s materials or remove proprietary notices. Museum and Learn images and facts are drawn from Wikipedia and Wikimedia Commons and remain subject to their original licences.

Third-Party Links & Ads

The Service links to third-party sites and shows advertising (including Google AdSense). We do not control or endorse linked sites or advertised products, and using them is at your own risk.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States, and you submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
